Legal aid
Complaints can be sent to: oikeuspalveluvirasto(at)oikeus.fi or National Legal Services Authority Registry P.O. Box 600 00181 Helsinki. It is also possible to contact the leading public legal aid attorney directly with any enquiries concerning a case.
The Disciplinary Board supervises all Finnish attorneys, public legal advisers and licensed legal counsels in their professional activities. You can complain about a public legal adviser or their invoicing to the Finnish Bar Association’s Disciplinary Board.
You can complain to the Parliamentary Ombudsman if you suspect that a legal adviser, a legal aid office or the National Legal Services Authority has not complied with the law or fulfilled its obligations, or if you suspect that fundamental and human rights have not been properly respected in their activities.
Financial and debt counselling

You can complain to the Parliamentary Ombudsman if you suspect that a financial and debt counsellor, a legal aid office or the National Legal Services Authority has not complied with the law or fulfilled its obligations, or if you suspect that fundamental and human rights have not been properly respected in their activities..
Public guardianship

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency is the overseer of public guardianship activities under the Guardianship Services Act. A guardianship authority has a general duty to safeguard the interests of the client under section 58 of the Guardianship Services Act. The guardianship authority oversees the activities of public guardians by dealing with complaints about their activities pursuant to section 53a, subsection 1 of the Administrative Procedure Act. Anyone can lodge an administrative complaint with a guardianship authority about unlawful conduct or failure to fulfil an obligation on the part of the public guardian.
